A diverse group of trikesters was awarded a huge first place trophy for having fun at the 2011 Ridgeland Christmas Parade last Saturday! Beth Rawls got the nod for the best trike and Cap’n Johnny helped to direct some drills to impress the judges! Thank you to everyone who participated this year! We had three times the number of trikes from last year, and folks are already planning to join the troupe next year! Great fun!
Keep your Christmas sprit going this coming Saturday, December 10, for the first ever Jingle Bell Ride at the Old Trace Park. The benefit is for the Arthritis Foundation and begins at 9:00 AM. There is 6 mile trail ride and a 50 mile Trace ride so everyone can participate. There is a free dinner Friday evening at Millsaps for participants and friends. We hope to see you there!
As we will be at the Old Trace Park for the Jingle Bell Ride and other activities, we will not have the Rise & Shine Bread Ride from the RideSouth shop. We will have, however, a number of trikes on site for you to test ride. So if you have been flirting with the whole idea of trike riding, this is another chance to see why RideSouth is still The Way to Ride!
